It does not grant permission to resell the materials, commercially redistribute them, build derivative commercial products from them, or use them as training or development material for commercial AI systems without prior written permission from Video Deception.Covered MaterialsThis licence applies to the public Alethea materials released by Video Deception, including Alethea_Protocol_Public_Edition_2026.pdf, Alethea_Protocol_Quick_Start_2026_v1.1.pdf, Alethea_Protocol_Automatic_Start_1.0.pdf, their text, structure, original terminology, initialization instructions, Voice Calibration material, and associated official public documentation (collectively, the "Materials"). Third-party names, quotations, standards, facts, ideas, or other material not owned by Video Deception are not claimed as exclusive property merely because they appear in the Materials.Permission for Personal Use and TestingSubject to this licence, an individual may download and retain the Materials; upload them to an AI service for that individual's personal, non-commercial use or evaluation; use the Materials to test, criticize, review, discuss, or study the Alethea method; quote reasonable excerpts with attribution; and share an unmodified official copy or an official Video Deception download link without charging for the Materials.No Resale or Commercial RedistributionYou may not sell, license, sublicense, rent, bundle for payment, place behind a paid access barrier, commercially redistribute, or otherwise charge for access to the Materials without prior written permission from Video Deception. You may not remove or obscure copyright, attribution, version, or licence notices.No Commercial AI Training or Model DevelopmentExcept with prior written permission from Video Deception, no corporation, business, AI developer, model provider, data broker, research organization acting for commercial purposes, or other commercial entity is granted permission under this licence to use the Materials, in whole or substantial part, for: pre-training; continued pre-training; fine-tuning; instruction tuning; reinforcement learning; preference or reward-model training; distillation; synthetic-data generation for model training; embedding or retrieval corpora used to develop a commercial AI product; dataset construction; automated harvesting or scraping for model development; or other ingestion intended to train, adapt, optimize, reproduce, or commercially develop an AI model or AI system.Commercial Benchmarking and Internal DevelopmentCommercial organizations may read publicly available descriptions and evaluate whether they wish to request permission. However, this licence does not grant permission to ingest the Materials into internal model-development pipelines, use them as proprietary system-prompt or agent architecture for a commercial product, or use substantial portions as a commercial model-development benchmark or optimization target. Written permission should be obtained before such use.Derivative Works and Modified VersionsPersonal notes, criticism, research commentary, and non-commercial experiments are permitted. You may not publish, distribute, sell, or deploy a modified, translated, adapted, rebranded, or derivative version in a manner that represents or implies that it is the official Alethea Protocol, an approved Video Deception release, or an authorized commercial product. Commercial derivative products require prior written permission.AttributionWhen publicly quoting or discussing substantial portions of the Materials, identify the source as The Alethea Protocol / The Alethea Code, Video Deception, 2026 and, where practical, identify the version used. Attribution does not create an endorsement, partnership, certification, or approval by Video Deception.AI-Service UploadsPermission under this licence for an individual to upload the Materials to an AI service is limited to personal, non-commercial use. The user is responsible for checking the AI provider's current terms, privacy settings, data controls, and training-use settings before uploading. This licence does not override a third-party service's terms and does not itself prevent a service provider from processing data under terms the user has accepted.Experimental Material - No GuaranteeThe Alethea Protocol is experimental. Video Deception does not guarantee compatibility with any model, platform, tool, connector, retrieval system, or future model version, and does not guarantee that use of the Materials will produce accurate, complete, safe, unbiased, or improved outputs. A PASS result from an initialization procedure demonstrates only the behaviour tested in that session; it is not a guarantee of future performance or factual correctness.High-Stakes UseThe Materials are not a substitute for appropriately qualified professional judgment. Do not rely solely on AI output produced using the Materials for medical, legal, financial, engineering-safety, emergency, or other high-stakes decisions.No Transfer of OwnershipThe Materials are licensed, not sold. Except for the limited permissions expressly granted here, Video Deception reserves its rights in the original copyrightable expression contained in the Materials. No trademark, patent, confidential-information, publicity, or other right is granted by implication.Permission RequestsCommercial AI training, commercial redistribution, resale, authorized derivative products, corporate deployment, or uses outside this licence require prior written permission from Video Deception. Permission may be granted, refused, or made subject to separate terms at Video Deception's discretion.Termination of LicenceThe permissions granted by this licence end automatically for a person or entity that materially breaches these terms. Ending the licence does not erase rights or remedies that may otherwise exist under applicable law.Governing Law and SeverabilityThis licence is intended to operate under the laws applicable in Western Australia, Australia. If a provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions are intended to continue to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this licence excludes rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.Licence Scope and Legal ReviewThis document states the public-use permissions Video Deception intends to grant for the Materials. It is not legal advice to users.
